What is the Daily Pick?
Every trading day, before the US market opens, a machine-learning model scores more than 500 US stocks and ETFs and picks the single one it rates most likely to close above its opening price and beat the typical stock that day.
When is the pick published?
The race runs live from 5:15 PM ET the evening before. The pick locks at 9:00 AM ET, half an hour before the opening bell, and is graded after the 4:00 PM ET close.
How accurate is it?
Honestly: modestly. In out-of-sample testing the pick closed up a few percentage points more often than the average stock. Many days are close to a coin flip, and every loss is published.
Is this investment advice?
No. The Daily Pick is information and entertainment. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
